Cause there are a lot of very liberal people in these two States, the urban cores are very diverse with people from other Countries who don't fully embrace American freedom as it was meant. They just come for the jobs and opportunity, but don't fully understand how it got to be this way to begin with.

Paladino running in New York is supported by a lot of tea party types.

Because we're New Yorkers and we can smell BS a mile away. Down South, it smells like BS everywhere so they can't tell the difference. Also, we have people in NYC who came from all over the world over the past 200 years and worked hard from the moment they walked off the boats and even got educated while wroking themselves to the bone so NY is full of smarty pants coastal elites which is another way of saying - smart people who actually paid attention in school.

No!!!! The first Tea Party victory was making the Tea Party participants aware that they were not alone, and are, in fact, the majority. That movement and the protestors that showed up at townhall meetings shook up so many Democrat politicians that many of them can now be found in the ranks of the Blue Dog Dems.
