The general concept is that both the Democratic and Republican parties have failed the people, endorsing for whatever reason lobbyists, trade unions, big business, and other special interests. Additionally the government seems to be getting progressively more and more into the business of business than the business of governance. The government also digs deeper and deeper into the taxpayers pocket to fund and support a welfare state. The "Tea Party" is an organized grass-roots effort to make the wishes of the people heard in Washington; putting the two parties on notice.

... If anything, the problem with the Tea Party is that candidates and elected officials on both sides (but mostly conservative) are jumping on the bandwagon with the distinct possibility that it will derail the whole effort.

Judging from the pictures I saw, most of them get their clothes at Walmart.

The truth is that Walmart is a perfect example of how unfettered capitalism leads to the degradation of society.

Its hilarious and somewhat sad that its largely conservative capitalists who have funded the economic growth of communism in the last two decades. If it wasn't for capitalist fairy tales like Walmart, poor China would still be poor China.
