Tea Party Protest 2009

Eugene Said:

Why do people at tea party protests hold up signs that are obviously racist toward Obama?

We Answered:

Because many of them (arguably not all) ARE racist. I've got another good example:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EZPQNZ_bq…

--there's a man in this video who actually says he's a "proud racist." These are the people who think it's fine to wear a t-shirt that says, "proud to be a right-wing extremist," without ever caring one bit about the term "extremist." This video shows you many of the people that are the Obama-haters comprising the tea party.

The sign the woman holds in the link you post to says, "The Zoo has an African (a lion) and the White House has a lyin' African."

--If you can't see how this is racist you do not understand what racism is. You think it is sheer coincidence that this woman is associating the terms African with lying? What is a "lying African?" If anyone said a "lying Caucasian" or a "lying Anglo" you'd see white people going crazy.

Ted Said:

Did ya'll know that Tea Party protest started as early as Jan 24 2009?

We Answered:

Yeah, apparently the 12 trillion dollar deficit BEFORE Obama was ok. Now that it's reached 14 trillion, that means the nation is becoming communist and we are all going to die unless that black man is impeached.

Connie Said:

Why are many of the people who go to those Tea Party protest, old and obese?

We Answered:

It's been well-established by scientists that conservatives are people who are easily frightened, uncomfortable with change and intolerant of people who are different. Seems to me that this can also describe a sizable portion of the older generation. Something to keep in mind.

Gordon Said:

tea party protest: spot the black person?

We Answered:

I believe there are probable maybe 5 black people or less at these tea parities. I know I wouldn't feel comfortable going to one even if I support the cause. I would feel they would be on a lynch hunt on African Americans. ><

Ernest Said:

do you think swine-flu vaccine protest's could be the next tea party protest?

We Answered:

any government/state mandate is unconstitutional. we are still individuals who can make our own decisions about our health...especially when it comes to being injected with the 2nd most toxic element on the planet...Mercury (coming in second to radioactive plutonium). They must think we are pretty stupid...well, I guess a majority of us are if we get a vaccine who's manufacturer already has legal immunity to any "ill effects" the vaccine could cause. BIG red flag people.
