In Cincinnati we had the local stations show up. Channel 9 showed up and one of their crew had an Obama button on their jacket. No bias there.

She interviewed the ONE Obama supporter there and then the crowd started chanting "MEDIA BIAS" they left. They later reported that they feared for their safety and had to leave.

Well MAYBE if they interviewed one of the 5000 Tea Party attendees rather than the ONE Obama supporter, they wouldn't have had "MEDIA BIAS" shouted at them.

We Answered:

No. They're adhering to the current Republican talking point that focuses on stating that cutting taxes is not the problem but cutting spending is. They are leaving behind common sense in order to justify cutting taxes but, then again, not much of what they have ever said has made much sense.

The tea parties were not about the tax itself. They were about out of control spending of those tax dollars. By The Government, Bush, Obama, whoever. We are out of control and the Tea Parties were to point out that some of us see it and want it stopped.

Others (Manly Liberals who have Overdosed on Obama cool aid) want to believe we hate taxes.

Now if you call yourself a conservative you should not only have known this but agree with it.

I don't believe it's your reading that is wrong; it is the manner in which matters are being reported to the American public by the main stream media that is wrong.

It's also a hugely misleading statement to say that taxes are only being raised on those with incomes over $250k (not to mention it's quite a huge lie). Anytime taxes are raised on those who provide the jobs, manufacture the goods, supply the means, etc., those costs are passed along to everyone else.

Just pulling something out of the thin air here as an example (these are not actual numbers and percentages - it's just an example): Let's say you make $20,000 per year and you buy only Brand X jeans. You pay $20.00 per pair. Brand X jeans are manufactured here in the U.S. Brand X employs more than 500 people; therefore, their tax liability under the healthcare bill just went up 30%. They now are federally mandated to pay for healthcare for their employees and their families, so that is going to cost them an additional 20%. It is now costing Brand X 50% more to produce your favorite jeans. Do you think the cost of your Brand X jeans will remain $20.00? Or, do you think it is more likely that they are going to have to now charge you $35 or $40 per pair of jeans just so they can continue to stay in business, employee those 500+ people, and pay their taxes and insurance?

The Congressional Budget Office announced last week that it will cost $115 BILLION more than thought ... and that announcement comes before any of it is really implemented. Once it's implemented there will be much, much more costs come to light. Who will pay for that plus the $1 trillion they claimed it would cost from the beginning?

The Obama administration also just created 16,000 (sixteen THOUSAND) new Federal jobs. Who pays the salaries of Federal employees? Taxpayers do.

They last a few hours to about half the day. They're for the purpose of protesting the huge amounts of money being wasted by the Government. Of course a Tea Party stands for Taxed Enough Already.

because it was all staged. the whole Idea of the tea parties was thought of a couple months before his so called impromptu rant. the web space had been purchased and was up and running the day after his rant.

Also, you should read this link i have about the group sponsoring the tea parties. they are called Strategic Activism, and they have mapped out a plan for business to use regular citizens for the good of their business. (basically use people as lobby groups)
