Where to throw a baby shower, Tampa FL area?

We Answered:

If anyone is staying at a local hotel you might want to check and see about a meeting room - they often have rooms you can use for a small fee, even in small hotels with out a restaurant (which would be even cheaper because you don't have to use there food service)

Ideas for 7 yr old girl bday party...?

We Answered:

I do not know how artistic your daughter is. Beading parties are very popular nowadays. Check on the INTERNET there are people who run these kinds of parties. You could also do a fancy dress party. Choose a movie she likes and get her friends to dress up as a character from that movie. As for party bags I agree with you that it is not a good ideas to fill them up with lollies. If you did a beading party fill them up with some beads you can buy sets of beads cheaply from most stores. If you choose the movie dress up theme put in a movie ticket.

Ideas for 7 yr old girl bday party...?

We Answered:

A themed party is always a great idea.
In the past I have helped plan a movie themed party.
Perhaps your daughter would like that?
It may go with the theme of a princess tea party which in this case
she has already experienced, but if she chose a certain movie she could be starred as her favorite character.
This sort of party can work for both a indoor and outdoor setting.

When i was younger I was always excited about the goodie bags that
had coupons to McDonald's in them, or ones with little makeup kits for the girls. If boys are attending this party as well, then they might benefit from packets of army figures or little toy bugs or animals.

I would keep the invite list to a minimum, say 10-15 children? Too many children running around may be a hassle and can sometimes turn disastrous if there is a shortage of anything such as goodie bags.
School friends or other children her own age would be fine either way.

I wouldn't ask for certain gifts, for if a certain guest cannot afford a the particular gift they may feel they shouldn't attend. Also this tends to aggravate most parents. To take your daughters mind off the amount or quality of the gifts she receives; plan games or activities throughout the course of the party so that she will not have time to think of the gifts before and after opening time.

Hope this helped in any way possible:)
