Tea Party Sets Girls

Carole Said:

Little girl tea party ideas???

We Answered:

I would think a simple table set up with a table cloth, flowers, and dishes and such would be fine for a tea party. Streamers are nice too, and inexpensive. You could also buy inexpensive fabric to cover the chairs and tie it in place with ribbon.
The link I found below has a bunch of descriptions and ideas for tea parties.

Need help planing a "Girls night in party"....?

We Answered:

I love the tea party idea! Add like goodie bags that is full of lotion and bath stuff! Have everyone bring some kind of cookie or finger sandwiches! Make like a tray of different kinds of tea packets and just have a tea pot of hot water. Also to keep the kids entertained, put on a movie so you girls can chat it up!

I would like to have a tea party.?

The details of what you are considering sound more English than Asian ... the Asian tea ceremony is a formal one with protocol for pouring, bowing, etc. The British is more casual but 'dressy-up' and chatty as you are describing. So - go with British tea like "English Breakfast" or "Earl Grey" - do some sandwiches and cut them in triangles and cut off the crust. Yes, balance the sandwiches with sweets like scones and pastries. You can do it simply or go all out - depends on the time you can afford to spend preparing. Fancy teacups & pots make it festive also. Summery, frilly, casual ... no matter ... let them come as they are too. Relax and let the chat flow. Sounds like a fun gathering!
