I made these adorable desserts for a tea party at my house, more of a lunch and tea. Anyways, here they are:

Mini Strawberry Shortcakes..mmm..

Alright so I bought these mini angel cakes that I found at the grocery store. It was a pack of 6 white fluffy mini cakes, that were really fresh and delicious. I've seen them at many grocery stores, so you could try there. I cut them in half lengthwise through the middle, like a hamburger bun style. I put a small layer of cool whip(you could use whip cream) in the middle and then topped with a couple thinly sliced strawberrys. I put it together like a sandwich and then on the top I put a thicker layer of cool whip and then a whole strawberry in the middle with small strawberry thin slices around it. It was so delicious, and really light and fluffy, not too sweet either, just perfect! They were perfect with tea.

You could also make cinnamon raisin scones. They're delicious and really great homemade. Find your favurtie scone recipe and add a tbsp of cinnamon to the dough, along with about 1-2 cups raisins. Enjoy, and bake until golden brown.

You could make a fruit tray, if you aren't into baking, but it wouldn't be as cute. Little cupcakes would look nice, with homemade pink frosting and sprinkles! Try those for something simpler. Enjoy! :)

Clean the whole house so that it looks presentable. No one likes to go to the town dump for a party! I'm sure your home is quite tidy already, so getting it party ready will not take long. That is a fabulous party idea you have, your guests are sure to enjoy themselves.
