The British Government had repealed all the taxes except the one on tea (as a symbolic remnant) the physical rejection of this symbol by the Sons of Liberty outraged the Government which brought in five Acts of Parliament (known to the colonists as the Intolerable Acts) four of which were intended to punish and suppress the citizens of Boston. The acts were the Boston Port Act, the Massachusetts Government Act, the Administration of Justice Act, the Quartering Act and the Quebec Act. From one point of view the subsequent actions are understandable, although it is probable that the Revolution was by this point inevitable, from the British point it was incomprehensible, since it should be understood that the taxes were raised to pay for the administration of government in the colonies not to provide revenues for Britain, it suited the Revolutionaries to present the opposite.

Look how well he has treated Afghanistan, after glorious American presidents Carter and Reagan helped them get rid of their leftist regime! They got the beautiful Taliban, Northern Alliance, and American rule.
