A few key points you left out. The "expansion" of this rule as applied by the Czar, would 1. Provide for revenues to be collected from the profitable, to support the "less" profitable in getting their share of air time ( as in Air America which went belly up because of it's leftist affiliations and people didn't want to hear it anymore ); 2. Require that "equal" time be granted any political point of view not acceptable to "other" political affiliations ( that reads, communists, leftists, etc.,).
Try NOT to forget, that the very man behind this "blatant attack on the First Amendment", was the one who not once, but TWICE, in different press speechs, "PRAISED" Hugo Chavez and his "MARVELOUS" socialistic revolution. One only days AFTER Chavez shut down the LAST free speech radio station int he country. Could you get the "hint" from this alone perhaps ?

Yes, that is absolutely true. The founders generally were actually liberals not conservatives. They recognized the need to check free market abuses.

The tea party has a huge number of democrats in it, and independents. By they way "they be looking..." indicates to me that you might not fit in. Rasmusen pols show that Tea Party members on average are better informed and better educated than the average citizen.
