Texas Tea Parties

Juan Said:

What happened to the "Revolution" Republicans or Texas talked about? Tea Parties? That's it?

We Answered:

Well, that's the unproven "law of the sudden leap" paraphrased. Both Lienin and Stalin made reference to it.

Forget it. There was a revolution here in the late 60s and early 70s, and relatively little violence. Before the Viet Nam War (an UNDECLARED War) was finished, our social structure was shaken to its roots, and we had the Privacy Act and Freedom of Information Act shortly thereafter as fallout, and a great distrust for bureaucracy.

That was a more-or-less "liberal revolution" because it involved liberals losing tolerance for a Democratic Power Structure. This revolution will be where Conservatives lose faith and trust in their leadership, and it will alter the way power is parceled out, which will be good. There is too much power in corporate hands, and acts of faithlessness are needed to reduce it, once again.

But it can be a revolution without being violent, at least not a violent overthrow of the power structure, just enough fear generated that the power structure changes. This government might still be afraid of the power of its people.

Still, this revolution will probably fail because people are not reaching out to each other regardless of political persuasion over any issue. The only worthy issue is the amount of power corporatism and government wield and the fact that they are practically indistinguishable. That means you have to lose faith in Rush as well as losing faith in elected leaders. It means people have to think for themselves and not listen to mountebanks whether cloaked in .the cloth of ideology or ministry.

And if you can't see that pointing to national security from terror is the equivalent of Iran accusing Britain of interfering in the Iranian election, then there is truly no hope for you.

Several Texas Tea Parties have now been hosted in homes throughout Texas including Houston, Austin, Cleburne, Beaumont, Huntsville and Bandara. The National CP has announced that Missouri and now Ohio are using Tea Parties as well. Each one added new members to the Constitution Party. The highest attendance was Huntsville with 20 attending that evening. Commitments were made for future Tea Parties and growth for the Party. Special thanks to Clell Drumheller for hosting or presenting three Tea Parties. Special thanks also to Bryan Malatesta, Chairman of the Texas Constitution Party, Jim Wade, Ron Burrow, and Evelyn Drumheller, and many others I haven't mentioned for hosting parties. Will you be the first to host a Texas Tea Party in your community? We would also like to welcome Ron Paul Meetups as they come aboard.

The Price of Freedom:

The freedoms we hold dear in this country cost some people in our history a great price to win. Maintaining those freedoms cost "We the People" a price as well. It has always been the small few who have paid the price for freedom. Our country is going down the path of destruction at breakneck speed. The rule book that "We the People" gave our government (The Constitution) is being despised, maligned, ignored, and destroyed by, not only our President and both Houses of Congress, but also by an elite group of internationalists I call "The Money Lords". These Money Lords control the economies of the World as well as America's foreign policy. How do they do it? Through the Two Party system and a liberal Media that they own.

What choice do we have?

The only party who has consistently held to the Founding Fathers high standards for a Free Republic is the Constitution Party. The other two pay lip service to American ideals, while in reality they are selling off our nation's sovereignty. The Constitution Party has been a steady force of these ideals such as pro life, family, smaller government, self responsibility, etc.

Gathering the Political Refugees

The failure of the Two Party System has created literally millions of political refugees. These Americans believe they have no place to hang their political hats. This is because the Constitution Party does not have the unlimited funds for advertising that the Two Major Parties have. The conventional method of growing a party if continued will produce the same slow growth. Word of mouth or networking is the best form of advertisement there is. And once it begins to mushroom, it is the quickest and most solid way to grow anything. When your efforts are duplicated, whose efforts are duplicated, etc., you begin to see the big numbers of not only new members, but of activists.

Join us in this most exciting Revolution:

Samuel Adams is known as the Father of the American Revolution. Adams method was to start "brush fires" of ideas that could not be put out. He started the ideas of Revolution by telling people one on one. Then they were meeting in peoples homes. Then the "Sons of Liberty" was formed and they met in churches and at Faneuil Hall in Boston. In rebellion to the tyranny of the stamp act, as this was forced on us without our approval or representation, the Sons of Liberty staged a Tea Party in the Boston Harbor aboard a ship that contained a cargo of imported tea. The Texas Tea Party, like the Boston Tea Party, is a concept of rebellion agai
