Good heavens! An outside summer wedding ceremony in Texas?That's as bad as doing the same here in Florida. And a river between the bridal party and the guests? I guess no one is thinking about the comfort of the very people they chose to be their guests! Nor does it seem that their attention or participation is needed or required since the bridal party will be across a river from them.
Unique--oh yes, nice for the guests, oh, no! And they will be wearing dressy clothes and then perspiring? Maybe it should be a clothing optional ceremony for the guests? LOL
I know this won't be chosen by the Asker, and that is OK, but destination wedding ceremonies and receptions should be considerate of the guests, not something the bride just thinks will be unique or unusual.
As for decorations, beverages during the ceremony, invites--I can't comment since I think this is not a situation that is well thought out.
