Vintage Tea Party

Jerome Said:

In your opinion, Would a Vintage 1950's Tea Dress look good on a more "busty" girl?

We Answered:

It's generally given that the 1950's style especially the form fitting dresses look better with curves and the flared skirt will hide any bums and thighs the girls arn't keen on showing much better than a modern style.
Running it past your bridesmaids first it probably the best idea but technically its the perfect style for slightly bigger/more shapely ladies.

And I love the idea of a vintage garden party themed wedding I hope it all goes well, best of luck.

Mabel Said:

What word would you use to describe these things?

We Answered:

Vintage and victorian. The victorian era was one of class, prosperity and proper-ness. Porcelain, lace, and formal things were staples, so yes, it would be Victorian. You may not like EVERY aspect of the Victorian style (like the frills) but it is, in essence, what you like. I suppose you could also just call it 'your style' but if you want a "proper" name for it, it would be victorian.
