Protest the governments outrageous spending habits and taxation of businesses that in turn higher employees. The basic idea is to call attention that the government is invoking monetary powers that the US Constitution never gave them.

They call them tea parties because of the historic nature of the phrase, and tea is an acronym, for Taxed Enough Already.

The press is going to show the down side, so I didn't pay any attention.Most conservative Republicans' have jobs and a family and do serious things to protest, but it doesn't do any good as long as people depend on the Government to take care of them.

It disturbs the some democrats (and a lot of liberals) because the American people are telling the government (that is supposed to be subordinate to the will of the people) that it needs to stop its current course of action and find and alternate. That in a nut shell : Democrats and Liberals if you pull the same crap as the last group we'll kick you out of OUR Government. in other words they don't like being reminded of who they really answer to: We The People of The United States of America.
