What Does The Tea Party Stand For

Charlene Said:

What does the United States Tea Party Stand for again?

We Answered:

it stands for nothing... its an attempt of republicans to throw mud at anybody who disagrees with them

Jane Said:

What exactly does the Tea Party stand for?

We Answered:

They want to end entitlements, unless you're talking about Social Security and Medicare. They want to return to a Constitutional Republic, as long as that doesn't mean adhering to things like the first amendment or the fourteenth amendment. They want to cut government spending, as long as it's not for the military. They want to end the deficit, as long as it doesn't mean not cutting taxes.

In short, you're not going to get a straight answer from them any more than from the Republicans. Smaller government! Lower taxes! Cut the deficit! But just don't ask them how.

Teresa Said:

Where does the Tea Party stand on the legalization of marijuana?

We Answered:

T.E.A. stands for TAXED ENOUGH ALREADY.

The Tea Party does not "stand" one way or the other with regard to smoking weed. I'm a member of the Tea Party and I smoke weed.

What the TEA Party wants is low taxes, stopping all unnecessary spending and stop adding to the horrendus deficit of foureen trillion dollars NOT COUNTING SOCIAL SECURITY, MEDICARE, MEDICAID, OR THE NEW HEALTHCARE REFORM DEBACHLE.
We want SMALL GOVERNMENT and we want Govt to stop invading and intruding on private businesses, the private sector which they are destroying along with the 90% of jobs the private sector produces.
We want Govt to stay within the limits of what they are supposed to do: infrastructure, protection of our people and our borders against enemies from within and without, running the military, etc....
The Federal Govt is becoming a dictatorship. They are now deciding who gets a college loan and who does not. Soon they will decide whether granny gets the morphine pill or dies.

The people are fed the hell up. We want the govt to be what it is supposed to be: a SERVANT OF THE STATES AND A SERVANT OF THE PEOPLE. We are not supposed to be SERVING THEM.

Weed? Who the hell cares about weed? Wanna smoke a joint? Have a good one - in fact, while your high if you get an idea about opening a head shop or selling cool tee-shirts, great: what we tea party people want is for you to be able to take that idea and make a prosperous business out of it without the federal govt being up your butt and telling you how to run your business and then taking most of what you earn from your idea and your own hard work. get it??

Howard Said:

What does the Tea Party stand for?

We Answered:

The TEA Party Movement. TEA is an acronym for Taxed Enough Already. It is an ongoing, nationwide effort by grassroots protesters, of individuals and self-organizing groups, united in accomplishing a single goal and stands for a return to fiscal responsibility and limited government to the United States through the exercise of political activism. The main focus of the TEA Party Movement is to curtail some of the outrageous mandates (that current taxpayers and future taxpayers will shoulder), and the overreaching and out of control spending by an out of touch federal government. Seen as a Republican Right-wing conservative movement it is "characterized," (as racist, hateful, evil, stupid, uncaring, etc,) ridiculed, and lied about by most main stream media and others who are quaking in fear that they may lose their "fat cat" jobs (including both Democrats and Republicans, the Heads of Unions, those who have figured out and are currently plundering the system, etc.) and may actually have to work for a living and pay taxes, as opposed to watching porno movies all day and wandering why everything (as the sh**ty and meaningless Congressional committee, questioning the sh**ty Goldenman Sachs executives) is so sh**ty. Sh**ty words of your Congressional representatives and memos from financial leaders, not mine. A magician says "look at my left hand" as he picks your pocket (or slits your throat) with his right. Most, not all, politicians are doing the same. It's all about the use and abuse of power, the making of wealth, and the redistribution of wealth, or "political economy."

If you need to know, please do research and start studying (from a variety or sources) about what is really going on. Whether you believe in a Republic form of Government or a Socialist one, you should "know" what you believe in and why, before you're fooled by the "hype" on either side of the equation.

Lillie Said:

Besides small govn't, what else does the Tea Party stand for? Also how does it differ from Republicans?

We Answered:

The Tea Party basically wants to return to a mythical time in our past when ladies knew their place, wore skirts, and stayed in the kitchen and men wore hats with tea-bags hanging from them.

Bonnie Said:

What does the tea party stand for?

We Answered:

Most actually are Democrats and Republicans. Just that some people got tired of being used, played, and conned. And believe there is an alternative to corporationists and socialists who can only offer the lesser of two evils on every issue and every election

Discuss It!
