We Answered:

I was at the first one in my area last April 15th. Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. a Midnight Blue area of a (until last year) red state.

I was there for about an hour, and it was incredibly peaceful. Along both sides of the center road of the county, in front of the Federal Courthouse , both sides of the street (three lanes each way, thirty foot wide sidewalk on each side) people carrying signs and occasionally chanting USA,USA. It was pretty cool! I have been to a lot of concerts and stuff in my life that were a LOT more rowdy than this. and of course, the local media down-played it to the max.

Like I said, I have been to a lot of concerts, so I know what a crowd of several thousand looks like. The newspaper of course said "hundreds" and I will admit that thousands are indeed made up of a Bunch of Hundreds, but I was offended by the attempt to conceal.

The South Florida Sun-Sentinel is owned by the Chicago Tribune, so go figure! They long ago zoomed past The Miami Herald as a source of socialist propaganda.

My political party preference is Republican, but I will tell you, if a Democrat says anything different about Ft. Lauderdale's Tea Party, they are LYING!

They arent a new party.... they are basically tax protesters..
