Pair it with metallic or bright patent leather gladiator sandals (the newest trend), colourful jewellery (necklace, bangles and hoops), a big tote bag, and you're set!

well, normally i would say a sun dress, but since its fall/winter, i would say maybe a cute sweater dress with leggings or tights, or a church appropriate dress with lace tights, or something along those lines. but like, when i say leggings or tights, i mean like neutral colors like black, white, tan, not bright colors like pink, green, etc. or maybe like a creme lace dress with like a brown waist belt and a cardigan, maybe some tights/leggings, and like cowboy boots?
or just a neutral dress with leggings and uggs, or something. i dont know where you live so i dont know the weather... but i hope this helps a bit?

If the tea party is in a garden - a must is flat shoes!
If in the UK - take a light cardigan or wrap.
A shoulder bag/purse so that both hands are free.

If the tea party is inside - a sleevless or cap sleeved summer dress/frock with no hint of cleavage - very non-u!

Hats are not common.
Always bring a wealth of witty stories and you will be a sure fire hit at any tea party. Remember - there will be no alcohol or at best - a light fruity wine and over indulgence will ensure no repeat invitations!
