Who Started The Tea Party Movement
Alicia Said:
Do liberals know who started the Tea Party... and why?We Answered:
I doubt it because I didn't either. I just KNOW that 'I heard it and it FLOODED the internet and HIT HOME with almost everyone I know!!! I am sure they would throw OUT 'some names' but I THINK although your 'guy' may have 'begun the name' and made a speech of challenge....that MILLIONS of AMERICANS 'created the tea party' because they were sitting back SEEING all the wrong things and THINKING all the SAME THINGS and were ALL WAITING for something to bring them together. Some sickness is IN THE AIR in Washington and 'beyond' that prevents them from SEEING or CARING about 'things that are happening' that are almost BEYOND BELIEF right now. SO...WE THE PEOPLE had to stand up and DEMAND 'things be put in order.' AND SO IT SHALL BE DONE!
People can rant and rave and TRY all they want to make it about race or HATE or 'who knows what' but when I SEE tea partiers, I see the Americans who lived in MY COMMUNITY growing up who were what AMERICA IS...a cross section of 'good people' who WANT our country and its LEADERS TO CHOOSE RIGHT over WRONG.
In the end 'the people WILL win' because TRUTH stands in the face of all oppression.
Blessings,

I firmly believe that the Tea Party movement is operated by Republicans who are trying to oust out Democrats..?We Answered:
For some reason the hard conservatives only think the other side is evil. Fox News has been their eyes and only ears for over a decade unfortunately. But to be fair about it, neither side has the media to rely on for accuracy anymore, they are each for an agenda.Marcia Said:
Why do some Americans fear the Tea Party? They might have some screws loose in their brains but they r united? We Answered:
I believe the 'some Americans' are career politicians and fear losing their cash cow.Frank Said:
Is the Tea Party movement doomed to fail because as soon as they try to pick a leader the group will splinter? We Answered:
Right. It's just a bunch of right wing protesters. They will all vote Republican in the next election. The good news is they're the best free advertising the Democratic Party could get!

Does Fox really have a right to complain about "not getting coverage" for their precious Tea Party Movement? We Answered:
Too true.Fox is clearly hypocritical on this count. They do have a right to be hypocritical, but that don't make it right.
It does go to show you how much the political winds have shifted since 07 (or if you prefer, how much the Tea Parties have been co-opted).
Priscilla Said:
How can someone say that the Tea Party movement is not a fringe movement? We Answered:
A "fringe" group implies that it is not mainstream. When most of the country expresses agreement with the priciples of a movement, it is more mainstream, not fringe.
