the BIG propaganda push is on these days, by anti-Tea Party factions ( including the minority YA Liberals ) to attempt to "connect" anything and everything they can that is bizarre, outrageous, insulting, demeaning, anti-American or racist;
Such things as : Abortion activists, White Supremacists, KKK, McCarthyism, communism, pedophiles, homeless, "birthers", Militants and oh yes, UFO conspiracies.
What these hope for, are ignorant, uncouth, impressionable, people to accept all this at face value. Then "these" people spread the same propaganda, from one source to another.
For those who read: The Tea Party has 2 positions 1. No more taxes or free spending 2. Vote the corruption OUT of Washington, be they Democrat, Republican or Independent.

They believe it, because MSM has said the Tea Party started in April 2009 when they sent Teabags to protest TARP. What the MSM says of course must be so.
I have seen this in several places in the last couple years...
If people choose to dig and apparently most do not, you can find multiple sources that do in fact place the Tea-party birth prior to April 2009 and prior to Obama.

Naturally presenting such evidence makes them think and they hate that, so they ignore it.
My sources below Dates the first Tea party at Dec 16 2007. While you may debate weather its part of the actual movement or not, I personally consider this the birth and everything after it as simply Growth.

My dear, you are totally misinformed.

I was there at the beginning of the tea party rallies. They initially began as a protest to the 700 billion dollar stinkulus (which incidentally, failed miserably). We were protesting his first lies that "unemployment wouldn't rise above 8% if this monstrosity was passed.

The tea party rallies really grew in strength with the democraps in the federal government nationalizing 1/5 of the US economy when they unconstitutionally passed 'health welfare' legislation.

But most conservatives I know were disgusted with Bush and the RINO republican's spending and didn't bother to support them in 2006 or 2008.

I have been to DC for the big protests, attended several in my home state, and helped make many people in my community aware of what the tea party rallies were really about. Most of them will be voting in 7 days for real change.
