Jordan Said:

Knowing what you know now do you wish you voted differently?? UK?

We Answered:

As I am Scottish I voted for Labour.

Travis Said:

Where is a good place on the net to find out about NEW laws being passed in UK without my chance to vote?

We Answered:

This site will keep you fully informed. http://www.opsi.gov.uk/acts.htm

However, nobody reads through all legislation as it is passed. There is far too much. Most of us read what applies to us. Happy reading, anyway!

Wendy Said:

does anybody know how i can anull my vote in the uk?

We Answered:

First I've heard of it.

Just a tip. Vote Tory. Labour draw their support from the poor.

They have a vested interest in keeping your vote.

Question about voting registration (uk)?

Jose Said:

what do i need to bring with me to vote (UK)?

We Answered:

You don't actually NEED anything - just your name. It is incorrect to say you need ID - you DON'T. You don't actually need your polling card - the polling card is just information on where your local polling station is & it has your electoral register number , which saves time - but you can vote without it, with just your name & address (NOT ID).

If you're not registered & did not receive a polling card then you cannot vote. If you've moved home between last October & now then you're polling card will have been sent to your old address & you'll have to vote at the polling station near there.

Incidentally you'll know (without asking your question) that you do not need to bring up anything - not even your card - if you've got your polling card it clearly states that you just turn up, also which polling station to go to (you have to vote at the one on your card).

Incidentally I have NEVER had a passport & don't drive, so those saying you need ID have no idea!!!
