I think the main reason they want these addresses is to assess your identity and possibly to get a background on you. You were honest in stating that you could not remember any previous addresses. If the adviser thought this was an issue, it would have been brought up then. I have addresses that show up on my credit history and others that do not at all. It really depends on what types of business you have conducted at that time, or documentation filling out at that time. I don't think you will find this to be an issue. Credit card companies are going to be more concerned with you leaving out information that could hide bad credit, criminal behavior, or deception about your income and debt.
A further note, you should know what was written on that application. If it is something that needed to be signed by you, it should have been reviewed by you before being submitted.

You are very confused about what democrats stand for. Democrats are the working class. Do you really think your average working person wants these immigrants here driving down the wages? I can't understand why congress says they will listen to their constituents about the war, but when it comes to illegal immigration, they are wearing earplugs for sure. It is very likely to cost them as many votes from current citizens as they hope to gain from the immigrants.

Americans jobs have been either outsourced or given to illegals at lower pay for years now. Many hoped the dems would change this trend so that SOMEBODY would show some concern about jobs for Americans. That is looking pretty hopeless as you can see by a 19% approval of congress, they are failing Americans just as bad as the republicans.

The best bet is to contact your local citizen advice bureau and discuss it with them.

There is a time limitation on debts of six years from when you last acknowledged the debt. Under no circumstances contact the company that has sent you the letter.

Under no circumstances acknowledge the debt as this will start the clock ticking again.

If a baliff calls do not let them in unless they have a warrant from a magistrates court or county court. Which will be impossible as the court would not issue a warrant as its out of time.

If it is a baliff from a debt collecting agency they do not have right of entry. Be strong, do not be intimidated by the debt collection agency or its representatives. If you are being harrassed by them seek legal help to stop it.

The debt collection agency will know they are on a bad recovery due to the age of the debt as they will also know the law re time limitation. They just hope that you don't.

If you are sure its for a debt that old just tell them to take you to court, they won't as it would be a waste of time.

I have been a Democratic activists since the 60's, and I have watched the conservative wing of the Republican party sabotage all sorts of Civil Rights issues, including the Equal Rights Amendment. Granted the Dixie-crates (who later became Republicans) didn't do anything to help the early Civil Rights movement, but concepts like Equality have never been front and center for the Republicans.

I don't need to watch TV to figure that out.

No problem. Get a pre-paid phone (pay-as-you-go). You put money up to pay for the minutes in advance, and when you need more, you "re-fuel" your phone.

I am volunteering for a national candidate in my city also. I will say that doing voter registration and canvassing is not overly fun, but the more you do it, the more you feel comfortable with it. Over all, I have gotten a lot of good feedback from the public so that helps too.
