Am I Registered To Vote In Massachusetts

Vanessa Said:

I just moved to Boston; will I be able to vote?!?!?

We Answered:

Check with the Board of Elections in North Carolina. You may still be able to vote there, or at least mail in an absentee ballot.

Deanna Said:

How do I transfer my voter registration?

We Answered:

Voter registration forms are available at local government facilities such as libraries and post offices. All you have to do is get a form, fill it in and mail it.

Reginald Said:

registering to vote....again?

We Answered:

No, you do not have to register for every election.
It's hard enough to get people to do it once.

Now.
Tell us all exactly WHY you can't call the election office and ask them.
Seriously.
I want to know.

Martin Said:

question about registering to vote. mass. residents?

We Answered:

Too late to register now. Deadlines are past.

You have to be a resident of the state for 30 days prior to registering.

So YES, you could register to vote in Mass. if you lived there 30 days and the registration deadline isn't past (although I believe it is).

If not, you can vote absentee in California (if you are registered to vote in cali). So you better get on that pretty quick and call your country/city clerk to get an absentee ballot.
