Very good question. Seems like Servicemembers of all status (active, reserve, retired, etc) should have always fallen under the same "protected class" as some other fed workers in high risk positions.EDIT: lol yeah I tried the link and got nowhere. I wonder whether any such legislation had been proposed before?
