Example: If the election is on the 16th day of the month, then the postmark which the post office puts on to cancel the stamp has to have a date on it no later than the 1st day of the month.

You have to mail it in time.

I registered voters in 1963 as a deputy registrar of voters and went door to door just after dinner time, register lots of voters,it is difficult for people who work to register as the registrars office closes at 5 p.m.
