You could get there as early as 6am (at least around my area we could) also you might want to consider going after work, this way if its crowded you wont have to be worried about being late to work. Sure. Their base is consistently motivated by issues that don't concern your personal well being. e.g. financially. They have a powerful base that vote on issues such as gay marriage; prayer in school; abortion; and separation of church and state issues.

However none of these issues really affect Americans economically.

If they weren't so blinded by their faith, maybe they would vote on issues that do affect them and their future, illegal immigration; federal deficit; energy prices and alternative fuels; free trade and the outsourcing of American jobs to Asian countries; our environment and quality of life.

So more than likely, we will still be under the grip of this new conservative movement for a long time to come. Until our country and Constitution are only read about in the history books.

p.s. I'm just anti-incumbent

In FL, the republican legislators actually SHORTENED the amount of time the polls could be open. In the name of saving money of course. And Not, I repeat NOT because they were deathly afraid of losing their tenuous grip on the cracker vote of Floridians.
So in Florida's case, it's correct to blame the rethugs.
