Do you support Demint's Bill to force Obama to build 700 miles of a double layer border fence?

We Answered:

No. We are America, not a prison state. Those fences never work. You have to build gates in them, a gate requires a guards, 24/7. Sooner or later a guard gets killed. Did the Berlin Wall keep people from leaving East Berlin?

Will the smears of Rand Paul backfire?

We Answered:

They aren't smears. If Rand Paul gets his way, we would again see "whites only" drinking fountains, bathrooms and restaurants. Paul explains he doesn't think government should put rules on businesses, such as Title II of the Civil Rights Act. The fact that he said he wouldn't patronize businesses like that doesn't nullify the facts. He's said as much to interviewers in the past, not just to Maddow. What is amazing is that you apparently don't get why most Americans find that totally repugnant.

He also doesn't like the Americans with Disabilities Act. H.e thinks business should not be regulated by the government. So to heck with our seniors and our disabled. Rand Paul thinks private ownership is more important than them. Again, most Americans do not agree.

The recent economic collapse; the need to borrow money to bail out banks and AIG; the Massey Mines safety violations and deaths; the Toyota acceleration deaths; and now the BP Gulf of Mexico disaster and deaths -- all have reminded us of the dire need for government regulation. We know capitalism quickly becomes predatory without regulation. We want Senators who will put our safety above corporate profit.

Face it: Rand Paul is not likely to win this election. Americans want leaders who bring us to a safer and more just world, not the opposite.

Luis Gutierrez, D-Ill says we must start legalizing illegals despite a weakened economy and joblessness.?

We Answered:

Oh, this will be GREAT for the Democrat Party once November rolls around – oh, yeah! lol

I see Carlos is a member of the Blame America First Brigade: we "lured" them here. That would be funny were it not so pathetic. As for La Raza being over all: sorry, Carlos, the Americans are over all. Doh! Get a life, hermano, 'cause yer jive ain't sellin', hear!

What do you think of these college students going on a hunger strike to gain support for the Dream Act?

We Answered:

Doesn't get any sympathy from me. Let them starve themselves,it isn't going to change their situation.

Do you think getting tough on illegal migration will hurt the GOP in 2012?

We Answered:

With over 80% of American citizens - the Voters! - opposed to the Nightmare Act and illegal immigration and presumed "automatic" citizenship for children of illegal aliens, the best thing Republicans could do to boost their image and polls is to demand a serious crackdown on immigration-law violators. Enforce immigration laws. Enforce existing requirements that students who are neither citizens nor legal permanent residents must have proper student visas. Enforce e-Verify.

As for children born in the US, too many people erroneously assume that birth within US borders automatically confers citizenship. In fact, the amendment to the Constitution stipulates it only applies to those born within US borders AND subject to US laws. A number of people born in the US are expressly prohibited from claims to citizenship by birth, including those born to diplomats of foreign countries. All that needs to be done on this is to clarify that those born to persons not legally resident in the US are likewise barred from claims to US citizenship. Therefore, those who come on tourist visas as well as those not legally present (both illegal aliens and visa overstayers) would have to obtain passports from their country of citizenship for their children when born. These children already have rights to citizenship in their parents' country of citizenship.

This action alone would save US taxpayers tens of billions of dollars per year just in welfare, WIC, food stamps, Medicaid, etc! Also, it should cut the incidence of child-identity theft substantially. Illegal aliens are stealing children's identities to try to claim their kids are "US born" and thus eligible for welfare, etc. If the parents must prove legal residence to claim US citizenship for their child, the use of false, forged or stolen children's birth certificates becomes futile.

Also consider that most hispanic citizens who were LEGAL immigrants and naturalized citizens are strenuously opposed to immigration-law violators. Cracking down on immigration-law violators would improve Republicans' standing among law-abiding legal-entrant immigrants, including hispanic, Asian, & other legal-immigrant groups.
