Federal Voter Registration

Alfred Said:

Are you sure you are registered? If you have missed 2 federal elections your registration may be purged legaly?

We Answered:

Don't worry. ACORN can help you register again, and again, and again, just so long as you promise to vote for Obama.

Timothy Said:

What safeguards are in place for fraudulent voter registration?

We Answered:

This is an excellent question and an issue that needs to be addressed. I am a Republican Obama supporter. The only issue that I was leaning to McCain on is illegal immigration but then he is with Kennedy and wants to give Amnesty to illegals I was amazed to find that the most liberal Dem Barack Obama will be tougher of illegal aliens than John McCain. I believe that voters should be required to register at least 6 weeks before an election and states should be required to run a background check to make sure the person is not an illegal alien or convicted felon.

Max Said:

Does the lack of a federal voter registration (it's done by state) invite fraud?

We Answered:

while there is a point there, if voter registration was done unilaterally, that makes it easier for people to vote out of state, as poll workers are not allowed to ask for voters identification (at least in california), and since poll counting is done by precinct and state, someone in the New England area could vote for president in several different states very easily.

Tracy Said:

do we just accept the fact that ACORN is going to get away with major voter registration fraud and let it be?

We Answered:

Realistically, what can we do? This is the job of the government and if they decide to do nothing how can we pressure them to do otherwise? I think voters should identify themselves when voting but it appears there are people running around without any identification and the ACLU believes it is wrong to expect them to identify themselves in order to vote.

The young black man who admitted he registered to vote 70 plus times, will he be prosecuted? No, of course not, he just wanted to help the ACORN people!!!
