we dont need government healthcare. taxpayers shouldn't have to pay for people that abuse their body and expect others to pay for it.

and the deficit i agree is a major problem, and i dont understand why nobody cares to fix it

Well, I guess they should take his words into consideration...
The guy above me said that Senator Sessions has no credibility. I wouldn't know since I don't even know him at all. So maybe he's wrong! (the Senator, not the guy above me.)
Or Obama is actually adding to the national American debt which to be honest it wouldn't surprise me because politicians do it all the time.
I wish I knew more but I'm a clueless about politics especially in America.

I know my votes do not count....At least at a federal level it doesn't.

Locally however, my vote does count.

And at the federal level, the govt should be so inactive, and so powerless, that it does not matter who our president is.

Its kind of like Al Gore claiming the global warming debate is over. They are two of a kind. Liars and frauds that have managed to con the general public for a while. Hopefully, Obama will vanish much like Gore has once his fraud is fully exposed.

Because this bill is against public majority opinion. The longer the wait, the more likelihood some of the Dem's who plan to vote for it will change their minds because of scrutiny they are getting from their constitutes.

I think the most concerning thing all Americans should consider is what forcing us all to purchase something really means.

--If-- you want to drive a car, you must purchase car insurance. This is reasonable. But you don't have to drive a car. Nobody is forcing you to do this. So what if I want to take the bus everywhere? Or walk? Or ride a bike? I don't need to purchase car insurance, because these other forms of transportation are my choice and my right as a citizen who doesn't want to have to purchase something to be law abiding.

I don't know what the answer is on healthcare, I have a lot of opinions on things but I don't know. I do know one thing though. I think it's wrong that the simple fundamental right of being a law abiding citizen in this country means you have to "purchase" something, regardless of what that is.

Call me crazy, call me simple, but something about that just feels wrong to me.

Interesting concept. It may have not been done yet because maybe those in power do not want to put in reforms that threaten their power.

As in power that has not been gained through democratic means.
