actually, it might be possible to change it online. just make sure you find the right site. (i think i saw something like that before? but i'm not entirely sure. i think going there is safer.)

Your local post office generally has a fax facility. If you wanted to post it you had to have put it in the box by 4pm Sunday night. A court house is not where it has to be submitted.

Contact a supervisor at the Welfare Office and explain your situation. If they will not give you any info on your ex, go to your local magistrate's office and explain. File a warrant for slander and libel (if he put things in writing). They can summons his welfare calls (number he called from, address given, etc). Do you have any wedding documents, ex that have his SS# on them? He can be found that way. That you need the magistrate for and take him to court for the abuse, slander and libel (so long as what he is saying is not true). You will probably have better luck going to the Welfare Office and talking to them in person and bring ID. They just might feed you an address. Don't handle this by friends and confrontations. Let him tell it to the Judge.
