you may be able to call the election office. im sure they can work something out. maybe get a good smaratin to drive a challenge ballot or whatever theyre called out to you. i believe that there is some way you can vote, if not, try and bring attention to it. hope all turns out well for you and your daughter.

You haven't missed the absentee deadline.

You can send a written request for an absentee ballot. Include:
* Name of voter
* Residential Address of voter
* Mailing Address of voter (if different from residential address)
* Date of Birth of voter
* Signature of voter

Then mail it to your county board of elections so it arrives by October 28, 2008. Find the address for your county here:

If you would have mentioned your state of residency, I could have provided you with the Internet link to request your absentee ballot.

Those ballots have already been printed for every Super Tuesday state.

Regardless, type into the Yahoo search engine "absentee ballot", the name of your state - in quotation marks if your state has two names, followed by the word 'request'.

The reason for the quotation marks is that the search engine will look for what is within the marks in the exact order.

Many states allow you to go in early and vote absentee. The votes will not be counted until after the polls close on election day.
