How To Vote General Election

Marian Said:

too late to resister to vote for nov 7th general election?

We Answered:

yes, the deadline was 2 weeks ago to register in my area. I'm not politically smart either, but I think you have to be registered 30 days before the election.

Bonnie Said:

Due to the General Election popular vote didn't Gore beat Bush?

We Answered:

Yes, he won the popular vote. But the Electoral College protects the smaller states. If it were abolished, the big cities call the shots.

Some here are saying that he lost the popular vote in both elections, but this is not true. In the 2004 election, Bush had 62,039,073 votes, while Kerry only had 59,027,478 votes.

Cindy Said:

Who would you vote if there was a general election tomorrow?

We Answered:

Conservative. Not particularly to get them into office, but to get New Liabour out.

Miriam Said:

I voted by absentee ballot in the General Election. How can I verify that my vote was recorded/counted? ?

We Answered:

If the percentage of votes cast between the candidates was greater than the number of absentee ballots cast your vote was tossed.

Roland Said:

Who would you VOTE for if the General Election was between Obama and McCain?

We Answered:

I would vote Obama. McCain is as crazy as a bag of monkeys and as a woman, it is shameful that Hillary Clinton is the best we have to offer as a species.
In saying all that, my opinion really doesn't mean sh*t as I am a Scottish/British citizen, watching from afar. :)
