How To Vote Labour
Seth Said:
How come Labour and the Tories are STILL the most popular parties? We Answered:
Beacuse there is no real alternative - BNP are just silly, Greens, UKIP etc are all one trick ponies - no-one has any confidence that they can form a government.Marion Said:
How many retired, UK, military chiefs are likely to vote Labour? We Answered:
UK military chiefs are on a pretty good whack so I expect the majority are Tory voters anyway. As for people who think Labour slashed the defence budget, perhaps they should read what is says on the Labour site.http://www.labour.org.uk/defence
As for the first answer by sod. Brown said yesterday, he never turned down a request for whatever was needed. Therefore if troops were short of things then it was more likely down to the MOD or the forces themselves not asking for it. The chancellor provides the money, the MOD decides where it's spent.
Also, the tories cut the defence budget in the 90's
Eileen Said:
Why do people vote Labour? We Answered:
I wondered how long it would be before someone mentioned the miners.Labour has been in power for ten years. Is Britain a better country? Better Educated? Is the NHS better? Are there more opportunities for young people? Do you feel safer? Do you have more say over your life? Is there less crime or violence? Are the elderly more respected or better treated?
The fact is unless you are gay, a city boy/girl with a buy to let portfolio or the sort of person who uses cheap, compliant Eastern European prostitutes. Labour has done precious little for you.
Chris Said:
