You ,along with most people equate conservative with strictly Republicans.There are also conservative Democrats in Congress.They are currently known as the "blue dogs" and they held up the health care bill until they got what they thought was best for their constituents.The Senate voted strictly according to party lines and has done so since the Obama "revolution".They also are getting help from the Senators who are Independent in name only.
Turning the country back over to the Republicans will not suddenly turn the country into utopia.The Enron debacle,the bank,credit and mortgage failures all were founded under a Republican administration.I wouldn't call that doing what is right.
The folks in Massachusetts should vote for the candidate that they feel will be best for them and their state.Unfortunately,I don't live there and I don't believe you do,either.That means we have no vote and our opinion doesn't really matter,does it?

Voting is your opportunity to decide WHO makes important decisions about the laws you will have to obey, what taxes you will have to pay, what fire , police and medical services you will have to look after you and wether you will be sent to war or not.

Candidates will set out their manifestos to be elected. These pamphlets lay out what they "claim" they will do if you vote for them. They don't have do any of it and usually don't. So you should look for someone, well educated, intellegent and who cares about other people more than their own ambition.

Elections are grately over-rated. Politicians will do what they are encouraged or pressured to do, rather than what they said they'd do on the day of the election. Writing a letter to, or visiting your representative has far more effect than giving them your vote.

Politicians claim elections give them legitimacy. Its not true. Just because a bunch of people vote for someone doesn't make it right for them to do anything they like.

2. You have to exercise your right as a citizen by casting your vote
3.Your role in the society is as important as that of a man in casting your vote.
4. You don't want to be disfranchised because of your gender.
5. Your vote is important,you pay taxes just like men,why won't you have a say in the future of your country?
