Independent Voters In America
Leroy Said:
quick important questions on america government? We Answered:
Politicians identify themselves with partisanship today according to the population surrounding them who will be voting which is why we have so many that dont truly translate well with their party. They usually choose the party that they think is more popular in their running area. There are still a few that actually know their party platform and try to represent by its standards.Citizens who identify themselves with a party usually choose depending on who they want to vote for and to show support they join that team. There are a lot of people who do believe in platforms but most people understand that the politicians dont follow their platforms as much anymore so they do not completely lock themselves into any particular party anymore like they did long ago. The younger a voter is the more likely that they pick sides based on popularity without actually knowing what their party stands for.
Liberal citizens overwhelmingly choose the Democrat party because the majority of other parties are conservative. Most of the independent parties are the result of conservatives not being satisfied with politicians that have gone away from the traditional republican values. Most of the independent parties claim to be more constitution oriented.
I think that choosing a political party only creates stupidity among the people who think they have to defend the actions of the politicians they voted for. As can be seen in this administration the voters are more interested in protecting Obama's good name, than looking at the truth about what is going on in his administration. Even though they will try to say it was just as bad in the last administration with conservatives, they are wrong because the reason there are so many independent parties is because conservatives do not blindly defend the politicians they vote for as much as liberals defend democrats.
Keith Said:
How many people do not realize that INDEPENDENT voters now make up 60% of this?We Answered:
I did not know that.Georgia Said:
Why are Republicans now complaining that America is becoming a dictatorship? We Answered:
Well, they are complaining because the Senate is one vote away to having a super-majority. Once there is a super-majority, a Republican filibuster would pretty much be pointless, thus the Democrats completely control the Executive Branch and the Senate. I am a Republican, but I wish we never even had political parties...Beth Said:
Calling Independent voters- does Palin have proof? She is just trying to win election by hook or crook? We Answered:
Yes...she lies a lot. Obama will win, though. She's speaking to the few rednecked racists out there.Terri Said:
What, if anything, would McCain do if allowed to be a real leader to America by only independent voters votes? We Answered:
McCain doesn't have the "right stuff" to be a real leader. He failed in his attempt to make admiral as his father and grandfather did. Instead , he chose the easy life of a politician living on the welfare we call taxes.....
