I have called, e-mailed and faxed my senators and my congressman. I have signed multiple petitions. They have my opinion as well as millions of other Americans opinions. The democrats-in-charge do not give a rats a** what we think. They want the power that will come to them from controlling 1/6 of our economy. They want this country to be a socialist country. Basically saying F**k the people and what they want or don't want.

Remember that money is always better spent by the people than by the government and that income taxes are more a way to try to control people's actions than fund government business.

They give you tax breaks for being married, because they want you to get married.

They give you tax credits for children, because they want to encourage population growth.

I don't know all the details of how it's done in Mass. but just look at how long your Federal Income tax forms are and you will see it's all just a bunch of ways to control people.

From what I read in law, it would go into effect immediately. It is of course possible it could be overturned but it was passed by such a wide margin (65-35) that it is very unlikely.

I don't think you become a republican when you move to a republican district or visa versa so I just think things will all turn shades of purple.
