National Voters Register

Tyler Said:

How to register for upcoming US national elections?

We Answered:

There is no such thing as a US national election. All elections are run by the states. The federal government has no say in elections other than reporting and few regulations via the FEC.

Marian Said:

How come all registered voters don't vote in the national elections?

We Answered:

because they are too busy, too lazy, don't care, feel that their vote doesn't count, etc. also, some people don't appreciate that they live in a country where they can elect their government officials. all i can say is that they shouldn't be complaining when politicians do something that they don't like.

Christina Said:

Should Election Day be a National Holdiay for Registered Voters?

We Answered:

Sounds like a good idea.
And tax day should be moved from April 15 to October 31 and lets seen then how quick incumbents are to raise taxes.

Delores Said:

What is the national total of registered voters for the 2008 election?

We Answered:

That one is gonna be hard to figure out. You can register to vote until Oct.4th, but in Ohio they do it like this this year: you can go register and vote early--at the same day, and a lot of people took advantage of this, especially young people. So I think that the total number of registered voters will rise sharply this year because I don't think that we are the only state who allows that....

Morris Said:

Are most voters now on the National Register of Electors?

We Answered:

All VOTERS are on the register as if you aren't on it you can't vote.

HOWEVER

That doesn't mean all citizens are on it
