6 weeks is not enough, it's federal law that registered voters can't be removed 90 days before an election. I would say 6 months prior to an election is a suitable time frame for a massive voter registration drive. After that, they can register for future elections, but not the current upcoming one.

Florida is notorious for suppressing the vote of a certain population. During the famous hanging chad Bush election over 20,000 African-Americans were not allow to vote, although, they were registered voters. Florida should take into consideration that being surrounded by water many people choose to live on boats.
It is the right of every natural born citizen to vote. They allow those living overseas to vote and the troops with no documented address. I would think that unless your brother was running for president and you are the governor of Florida an honest person would make sure everyone voted.
I didn't need anything except a picture ID when I registered to vote.

We Answered:

You don't have renew your card all the time. When you renew your drivers license they ask you if you wish to renew and you say yes and it just renews and you don't have to get a new card unless you move. You just show up and the polls where you are registered and they have you on their list. You show your id like a drivers license they check it, you then get to vote.
