How do you do a POSTAL VOTE IN AUSTRALIA ??????????

We Answered:

You have to lodge an application prior to moving/going away from your enrolled electorate. See your local member or even a post office for an application form. This includes if you will be on holidays or have moved interstate ate... if you are overseas you can vote prior to the election, but still must apply for the right to do this to cast your vote and yes voting is compulsory ! see ya!

You can apply for a postal vote for the 2006 State election if you can’t vote in person at a voting centre on election day. Applications must be received by 6pm on Thursday, 23 November. We strongly advise that you apply as soon as possible in order to avoid any delays in postal delivery.

Kristin Said:

why do some americans elect not to Vote ?

We Answered:

I don't vote sometimes because I don't like either of my options. Example: John Kerry VS George Bush...lol

Why should we HAVE to vote if we don't like our options?
