I Need Help With My TAXES!?We Answered:
It really doesn't matter since Florida does not have a personal income tax, so you would file. I would file in Oregon as a part-year resident.Beatrice Said:
I want to register to vote in Oreogon? We Answered:
I am from Oregon originally, I am in the Marines now in Virginia, (hate it here I want the rain back)Anyway, I am sorry pal, you will be too late for the primaries. it takes time for parties to process your paperwork and get you a primary ballot. However, you will be in time for the election, make sure you vote and that your voice is heard, in this nation it is the best trump card that you have

Do I have to pay Maryland state taxes if I traveled abroad for over 6.25 months & never...?We Answered:
Here's the problem with domiciles. You have to establish a new one before the old one will admit you don't live there any more.http://individuals.marylandtaxes.com/inc…
You used a Maryland address on your federal return. You gave that address out to people. You didn't live anywhere else, so of course the default is that you are a Maryland resident and owe them taxes.
Even the state's web site says if you abandon your residency you should have filed a form 502 as a part-year resident so they'd "know." However, since you failed to establish a new residency, I doubt they'd accept the fact that you lived out of your car once you got back to the states and that you want them to trust you that all of your investment income was received after this "move."

I'm already registered to vote, I want to change my political stance.Which party is able to vote either way?We Answered:
Well first of all, if you haven't voted before then you are not associated with any particular political party. How you vote in the primary is the side that you will be identified, until the next election. If you want to vote either way then you are a moderate, because they like aspects from both sides, but don't want to label themselves as a Republican or a Democrat. Don't feel as if you are required to vote for a certain candidate because you are labeled to a different party.Democrats (Liberals)
- Oldest political party in the United States
- Color: blue
- Symbol: Donkey
- Hold the majority in the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives
- Founded by Thomas Jefferson and James Madison
- Origionally called the Federalists
- Often referred to as "to the left" of the republicans
- Support same-sex marriage
- Pro-Choice (for abortion)
- Support government intervention
- Support government-funded programs
- Higher taxes
- Support equal opportunity
- Stereotyped to support African Americans more than the Republicans
Republicans (Conservatives)
- Second largest political party
- Often referred to as the Grand Old Party or the GOP
- Symbol: Elephant
- Color: red
- Often referred to as "to the right" of the Democrats
- Current president, George Bush, is a Republican
- Pro-Life (against abortion)
- Pro Capital Punishment (death penalty)
- Against gay marriage
- Supports lower taxes
- Supports limited government intervention allowing for more economic freedom
- More likely to spend money on National Defense
- Ideas are based more on religion
I am only listing the two main parties because the candidates represented by one of these two parties are the only ones likely to win an election. There are, however, other parties out there such as Moderates, Libertarians, Green Party, Constitution Party, and a whole lot more.
When it comes down to this upcoming election, the Republican Presidential nomination is presumably John McCain. On the Democratic side, it is a close race between Senator Hillary Clinton and Senator Barack Obama. They pretty much agree on everything, with little differences here and there. People like Barack a little more because he sparks hope in people and he has a niche for bringing people together. Hillary is a little too strong and controlling for people's taste, which is why she isn't doing so well right now. But if I had to choose between Barack and Hillary, I would choose Barack 100%
Good luck voting!
