Catherine Said:
Why doesn't the MN state voter registration form let you choose a political party? We Answered:
Minnesota, like some other states, doesn't require that you declare a political affiliation when you register to vote. On Election Day, you can vote for whatever candidate you choose to, and voting for a member of a certain political party in one election does not mean that you have to keep voting that way in the future. You've only got 8 days to get your registration form in if you want to vote in the primary, so register now at http://electionimpact3.votenet.com/decla… !

should i register to vote now?We Answered:
Here's another website from the US Congress with voter registration info. It really depends on where you are going to vote, whether you should register now or later. If you want to register now, where you currently reside, then you can get an absentee ballot sent to you no matter where you live or what your name is.
