Registered To Vote

Justin Said:

How can I still vote if I'm registered in a different city?

We Answered:

I did that 2 years ago--I hadn't taken care of registering where I was attending school. In Utah they have provisional voting. I just had to bring proof of residency with me (a bill or a rent payment, etc.), and I had to do it on paper--not the machine. I just called because I did the same thing again, and in Salt Lake (still Utah) they allow the same thing. I would call your county clerk and ask.

Here the polls are open 'til 10:00 pm, so you should still have time, and I called after hours to find out if I could vote--they had somebody taking calls still. In Utah it reads that you have to have lived in Utah for at least 30 days and plan to stay "indeffinately" to be able to vote. Sorry I don't know California law.

Bob Said:

How do I vote if registered in another state?

We Answered:

Call your county clerk office in the NC and ask them for a absentee ballot. However, if you or your husband is in the military, there is someone on base you should be able to ask there. At this moment forget who you need to ask there. Get your husband to ask his Div. Officer.

Michele Said:

How do I vote in a primary if i live in a different county than the one i am registered to vote?

We Answered:

I think you have to vote absentee. Contact your local Voters Registration Office to get a ballot. They may refer you to your home county, if they do make sure they give you the number.

Leonard Said:

if I don't registered to vote, does this get me out of jury duty In Ohio?

We Answered:

Do you have a drivers license? They pull jurors from both areas so if you don't have either then no they really can't call you for jury duty.
