Kevin Said:
Can someone tell me where I can find a sample ballot please? We Answered:
Why do you need a sample ballot? It's just a list of candidates to pick from and a few issues the federal government and your local government ask you vote yes or no to.

sample ballot /voter guide?We Answered:
Your state is in charge of the votor guides. You should get an additional one tailored by precinct. Start by looking up the votor guide for your state and then county.Albert Said:
So Cal Voters if you did NOT get your sample ballot this year would you state your party? We Answered:
I am a democrat, and did not receive a sample ballot.I think it is just a screw up.

Where can I find data to evaluate whether to retain a judge in this year's election? We Answered:
In my state we receive blue books that clearly spell out referendums, initiatives and judges. Florida may have the same type of book available.Marie Said:
Can i Bring with me My Sample Ballot to the Polls On Nov 4?We Answered:
Yes. You can bring anything you wish with you to aid you in the voting booth(Within reason, of course....no large posters or political buttons or bumper stickers allowed--no politicking within a specific number of feet of the polling place.)
But OF COURSE, you can bring your sample ballot or voter's pamphlet, or what are called "slate cards", provided by political parties or candidates or organizations, listing recommendations or endorsements. All are legitimate and allowed, and part of the First Amendment rights of voters.
So, don't worry about it. They try and make it as easy as possible for voters (at least, most states and counties do). Most sample ballots the voting officials send out do resemble what the real ballot will look like--that is what they are for. To familiarize voters with where to vote and how to vote for your candidates or propositions. But in large states, some counties may have a slightly different style of ballot or type of electronic voting machine, so just bear with it.
Good luck. And congratulations on your first vote.
