PS. How about curriculum plans to minimize Jefferson's role in history because he was a slave owner? That was tried in the 1990s by social liberals. And "triangular trade" has been used to describe the trans-Atlantic slave trade for decades.

An increase in the gasoline tax (gas costs more) would benefit the electric car because more people would buy it. It would not benefit the shipping industry because it would cost more to ship things, the trucking industry would experience increased costs and the cost of heating homes would increase as well.

The largest weakness under the articles of confederation was the inability to tax. The government had many responsibilities but had no money to accomplish any of these things with.

Id vote for Utah. They beat 6 bowl teams including TCU(whos only other loss came to Oklahoma) and handled Bama pretty well. I remember when 13-0 from any conference would get you a National Title. Now its just a popularity contest.
