I agree the Tories would have to accept it as they did when they "lost" in 1974, despite polling the most votes.It is time to scrap the first past the post system, and introduce democracy to the UK.
btw the Tories don't only favour FPTP, but openly admit they will scrap 65 seats they cannot win, rigging it in their own favour.
The 1997, 2001 and 2005 elections largely followed boundaries left by John Major's government. The new boundaries are to Labour's detriment, cutting their 66 majority to 48 before a vote is cast. I can't see how Labour has moved boundaries in their own favour.
