Just as in the rest of the UK, you can vote in person, you have the choice to register for a postal vote, you can register for a proxy vote if you are going to be away from home on election day or for some other reason can't get to the polling place on the day and don't want to vote by post, but online voting is not available.

The Electoral Commission (the UK government body responsible for the registration of political parties and the running of elections) has monitored the results of experiments in online voting carried out by some English local councils for their elections, and concluded that it cannot possibly recommend that it be introduced nationally as the Internet is far too insecure and open to voting fraud.

All three existing methods rely on the tried, tested and trusted technology of paper and pencil, and as I said to some American friends when we were watching a TV programme about the problems with voting machines in the USA, putting your X in the box on the ballot paper and having the papers counted by hand afterwards has the great advantage of actually working!

It's usually a Yes or No vote to retain board members...if you are happy with the way the corp is performing vote Yes...... if you are not vote No..... sometimes you can get more info by clicking on message boards when you get a yahoo " quote" for that stock...there may be some conversation on there ...
