According to C-Span 2 it will be voted on this week. It has been reported that it will be going to the Senate floor immediately after the Defense Appropriation bill is addressed. Possibly as early as tomorrow. You can watch it on C-Span 2 online or on your tv.

Clarence Said:

when will senate vote on unemployment extension?

We Answered:

In an attempt to hurt President Obama, the Republicans will make Americans and their families who need the unemployment extension suffer for as long as they can.

They want Americans so angry at President Obama that they'll not vote for him again.

But wake up, America. The Republican Senators are getting their bills paid and putting food on the tables of their families.

As to when they'll vote for unemployment extension, they will take their own sweet time. We, as Americans, have to raise our voices against such cruelty and that's when the Republicans will finally relent and allow us to feed our families.

Loretta Said:

When will the Senate likely have another chance to vote on the unemployment extension bill?

We Answered:

The Senate will be addressing the unemployment extension bill on Tuesday 10/27 at 2:30 PM ET/11:30 AM PT. It was scheduled when Harry Reid, the majority leader, invoked cloture to force it to the Senate floor.

You can watch the proceedings on C-Span 2 on tv or online.

Janet Said:

Question about CSPAN2 coverage on unemployment benefits extension?

We Answered:

I wish we could get over this idea that people on unemployment are poor people, they may be now, but they weren't when they lost their jobs. By focusing on the misconception that they are poor, there are a boatload of other negative associations that aren't true, like they never had a job, or that its welfare, or that they are lazy.
We are in a world wide recession, jobs are gone for good, people can't sell their homes and move on, because the businesses in the area have closed. People who were once productive, owned homes and businesses are now up a creek.
They are working people, the blood of the country, that their owners sold their jobs out from under them in the name of profits is going to kill this country. Republicans seem to ignore this and want us to despise the unemployed.
But some of those unemployed are Republicans and they can't afford to lose more of the vote than they already have, so they will, at least enough of them will, vote for the extension.
