I like this web site

Casey Said:

Will Obama voters support invading Pakistan, an ally and a sovereign nation?

We Answered:

Obama, like Bill Clinton, John Kerry, Jimmy Cater, and most Democrats before them, is a pansie. He has no stomach for war and will try to negotiate with the very people who have vowed to destroy the USA and kill Americans. He has no business applying for the position of Commander in Chief of the United States.

Problems of National Importance --- What Order Would Your Solve Them in?

We Answered:

Well, considering the spike in unemployment, you need to look at what can be done to keep people from going bankrupt in the short term and what will help get the nation back to work.

The Health care Costs Problem-- This is huge. Even without the mortgage problem and the out of control wall street folks, a huge number of bankruptcies are the result of health care costs. It is a huge burden on business, and even a moderate illness can drive a family into bankruptcy in a few months. Especially with the insurance company practice of cancelling policies if you get sick.

The Mortgage Crisis-- Again, high unemployment kept this ball rolling. A lot of so-called risky mortgages might not have gone to foreclosure without the spike in unemployment.

The Crumbling Infrastructure Problem--Well since we have unemployment, it would make a whole lot of sense to put the unemployed to work shoring up the infrastructure. Kill two birds with one stone so to speak. It worked to help pull us out of the depression.

The Bankrupt Medicare Trust Fund Problem-- Fix health care in this country and you will go a long way toward fixing medicare.

The Education Problem--No child left behind was a disaster. An unfunded mandate that did more harm than good. Obama's race to the top has made significant improvements. But we are way behind the rest of the world in education. We are not going to remain a super power with high school drop out rates of 40%.

The Iraq War
The Afghanistan War

Yeah, these have to be dealt with. Mainly by giving marching orders to the pentagon and state department to wind it down and get moving out of there.

The Iran Threat
The North Korea Threat
The Pakistan Threat

The "threats" are not imminent. These are issues that need attention, but they are not nearly as volatile as they were under Bush. Again, State department needs to keep them at the table and negotiate.

The Energy Independence Problem--Not going to be solved in the immediate future. Nice to see some attention such as tax breaks for renewable, but we will be dependent on foreign oil for the foreseeable future. If we can cool down the situation in the Middle East, we'll be OK.

The Bankrupt States Problem--If we get the economy rolling, states will have more tax income. A lot of state expenditure is in medical benefits, get the health care system functioning and it will take a huge load off the states.

Wall Street and corrupt bankers--turn the justice department loose on them. We need to see some high-level butts tossed into jail.
