The Acorn voter registration drive...I heard about half of the 5,000 in Nevada were falsified. What are facts?

We Answered:

It's still being investigated, but from what I've heard there is a weak tie to Obama. It's not direct in the sense he's saying "go out and do this" but more kinda fudgey in the way they're going about supporting him. As to the votes, I know they said that in Ohio, one out of every two voters registered, was fake. There are some reports that suggest this may have been caused by the way acorn supposedly pays its employees, on a kind of "commission" basis. Meaning the more they sign up, the more they are paid.

Right now, it's like a ticking time bomb. Depending on the actions they opt to take over the next few days, depends on whether or not it'll be defused or blow up in their face.

Paula Said:

Is it bad to give someone the last four digits of social security number?

We Answered:

A lot of times banks and cell phone companies will ask for the last four digits of your social security numbr to identify you over the phone. Not a good idea to give that information out to somebody that comes to your door. Also, I know that using any part of your social security number is not required in my state in order to register to vote.

Keep an eye on your accounts for a while!

Tammy Said:

Where can I find historical voter registration data on the United States (nationally)??

We Answered:

Entering the search terms "voter ballot stats" got me this link:

http://www.greens.org/stats/

Perhaps using alternate search terms more specific to your needs will get you to sites with similar data.
