Amanda Said:
voter turnout in the constituencies of delhi in the general elections of 2004?We Answered:
48%Henry Said:
Record voter turnout was 122,294,978 in 2004.. Acorn aside.. will we shatter that in 2008?We Answered:
Probably. All the liberals want to get in line for their share of what the Democrats steal from the rich and big business. Unfortunately, there won't be as much as the Dems expect because alot of that big business will move overseas to countries with much lower corporate income taxes and people who will appreciate the jobs. They're going to kill the goose that lays the golden egg, or should I say they're going to export it."When the people find they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic"
Ben Franklin

What was the voter rate turnout among the 18-21 year old electorate in the elections of 2000 and 2004.?We Answered:
According to the Census, 46.7% of 18-24 year olds voted in 2004 as compared to 36% in 2000, an 11 percentage point increase. In contrast, 63.8% of the general population voted in 2004 as compared to 60% in 2000, a 4 percentage point increase. The 18-24 turnout increase is the highest among all age groups, according to an analysis by the Center for Information and Research on Civic Learning and EngagementMaureen Said:
Why was there a lower voter-turnout amongst Republicans? We Answered:
Well, the popular vote does not really matter. What matters is the electoral college votes. So I just made sure to pick the right representatives. Plus, I knew McCain would loose. Obama had more of everything-endorsements, money, a fresh face etcI am a Republican, young, first time voter.
Basically there is no one my age that's conservative. I have met a lot of people and they are all liberal and for Obama. Possibly because I live in Los Angeles.
So maybe it is not "in" or "trendy".

Why was voter turnout below 2004 levels? We Answered:
I don't know about numbers, but at my polling place the lines were unprecedented. People were in line for nearly an hour!
