Voting In Georgia
Marian Said:
Why would Georgia keep voting to keep Cynthia McKinney in office? We Answered:
I can certainly blame her about this Capitol police thing. She thinks that she is above the law and she showed it and in order to get out of trouble she says it is because of her color. What a crock! She unfortunately is still in office because the people voting for her are just like her. She lost to a black woman and still called that racism. Go figure. She is an embarrassment to my state.Catherine Said:
Who do you think will win the Senate races in Alaska, Minnesota, and Georgia? We Answered:
HELLO! even the DUMBEST of us realize we MUST have checks and balances...cause we can't TRULY TRUST ANY... politicians!Annie Said:
Which of these places should I go on a budget vacation? I live in Georgia. Thanks for voting!?We Answered:
Come and visit Seattle! It's lovely and green here. There is a lot to do, and a lot to see. We do have rain here, but it's nothing that a Polar-tec jacket can't deal with, and it seldom rains HARD. You can see all the standard stuff - the Space Needle, Mount Rainier (not far away from Seattle at all), Mount St. Helens (a little further away), Puget Sound and the ferries that cross it. We have lots of things like botanical gardens, museums, the Seattle aquarium, tours, boat trips, whale-watching, and of course we have the Mariners and the Seahawks. If you want to go a little further, there's the Hoh Rainforest, the Pacific coast (totally amazing this time of year), trips to Victoria and Vancouver, B.C., Indian Reservations, hiking. There's also good night life here, especially if you're into the jazz scene. It's just plain hard to run OUT of things to do here! Seatac is also a comparatively small airport and is easy to deal with.Whatever you decide, have a safe and enjoyable trip!

How do you cancel your registration to vote (Georgia)? We Answered:
I don't believe you can actively cancel your registration. Just don't vote - loads of people are registered and don't vote. You'll have to put up with the political junk mail though.Tamara Said:

What was the 1st year african americans were allowed to vote in georgia? We Answered:
Congress proposed the Fifteenth Amendment on February 26, 1869. Georgia followed other states and ratified the amendment on Feb. 2, 1870. Ratification was completed the following day on Feb. 3, with Iowa.It was not really until the Voting Rights Act of 1965, almost a century later, that the full promise of the Fifteenth Amendment was actually achieved in all states.
