Every taxpaying citizen of the US is a victim of the crime of illegal immigration. Illegal aliens cost taxpayers over a trillion dollars a year.

Every citizen is disrespected by illegal aliens, who think they are above the law and can invade property owned individually or by the citizens (through their government) as a whole.

Then, of course, there are all the direct victims of identity theft, tax fraud, and violent crimes like murder, rape, assault, theft, robbery, home invasion, staged car accidents in insurance fraud schemes, shoplifting, and every other misdemeanor and felony in the books.

Every citizen of the US (and the same goes for citizens invaded by immigration-law violators, such as UK, France, Australia, etc) is a victim of these criminals.

The NHL is a business. As said before, it's all based on large markets. You're comparing larger markets to smaller markets. It would be a step back financially for the NHL. You have to take a look at supply and demand. Winnipeg and Hartford (as a whole) didn't demand their teams.

The lesser educated LA City Council needs to take the time to search the legal status of itself...maybe it is time to recall the council and replace it with more educated individuals that can do the research to see if they are acting in the interest of the people that elected them and to make sure they understand and are up to date with states laws and statutes.
